Diamond jewellery is one the most sought after jewellery now a days. With the recent development in digital world we, through our online store aim to provide wide range of certified diamond jewellery designs online to our consumers. To provide authenticity of our jewellery pieces we deal in certified & hallmarked diamond jewellery.
By certified diamond jewellery we mean that all diamond jewellery pieces will come with a certificate of authenticity of diamonds used in that jewellery. Certificate will be from an independent & world renowned laboratory like International Gemological Institute i.e. IGI certified diamond jewellery. Through this certificate we aim to gain trust of visitor by providing certified diamond jewellery online. This certificate will provide details like weight of jewellery, cut/shape of diamonds, weight of diamonds, colour of diamonds, clarity of diamonds, number of diamonds with a description of jewellery piece stating it contains natural diamonds. All the certificates will contain a unique number that will be engraved in jewellery piece & same can be verified from that labs website. Along with unique number the certificate will contain a barcode that customer can scan & he/she will land onto the certificate page of that lab of that particular jewellery piece.
Diamond is regarded as symbol of beauty & prosperity. Origin of diamonds is ages back. Most of the natural diamonds have ages between 1 billion & 3.5 billion years. In the world of jewellery no other stones sparkles like that of diamond. The sparkle produced by even small diamonds is the one the reasons why it is the most sought after stone form ages. Sparkle of almost every diamond is different from other because of which they have been classified based on their chemical and physical properties. Generally natural diamonds are classified based on 4 C’s i.e. cut, color, clarity & carat.

Since price of diamonds & diamond jewellery is quite high so in order to develop trust with our customer’s/visitor’s and provide transparency to everyone we provide certificate of authenticity of diamonds used in our jewellery pieces from world renowned labs.
As per legal requirements all jewellers must provide customer with BIS hallmarked jewellery. As per these requirements a jeweller is required to get jewellery hallmarked with registered hallmarking centre which will engrave along with other information a hallmark unique identification number (commonly known as HUID). We at VLJ only deal in BIS hallmarked diamond jewellery i.e. 14kt hallmarked diamond jewellery & 18kt hallmarked diamond jewellery.
18kt jewellery means that gold used in these jewellery would be of 75% purity. Studded jewellery is usually made in 18kt or 14kt gold. These jewellery pieces should be hallmarked (HUID) as per guidelines. A jeweller is required to submit these jewellery pieces to registered hallmarking centre which will engrave BIS hallmark stamp on these along with 18k750, unique 6 digit code. After this these jewellery pieces will be regarded as 18kt hallmarked diamond jewellery/18k hallmarked diamond jewellery.
14kt jewellery means that gold used in these jewellery pieces would be of 58.5% purity. Studded jewellery is usually made in 18kt or 14kt gold. These jewellery pieces should be hallmarked (HUID) as per guidelines. A jeweller is required to submit these jewellery pieces to registered hallmarking centre which will engrave BIS hallmark stamp on these along with 14k585 & a unique 6 digit code. After this these jewellery pieces will be regarded as 14kt hallmarked diamond jewellery/14k hallmarked diamond jewellery.
